Job description

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and leadership-driven Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our premium cigar retail and tasting experience.

This role requires strategic thinking, team leadership, and a deep understanding of the luxury tobacco market. For candidates with strong potential but slightly less experience, we will also consider the position at a Senior Retail Executive level, with a clear pathway to promotion.

Responsibilities

Lead by example in delivering world-class, personalized cigar consultations, ensuring every guest receives expert guidance tailored to their preferences, experience level, and occasion

Build and nurture long-term client relationships, cultivating a loyal customer base through exceptional service and product knowledge

Drive team sales performance by setting targets, motivating staff, and implementing effective upselling and cross-selling strategies

Supervise, coach, and mentor retail staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning

Oversee the daily operations of the retail shop, ensuring the walk-in humidor, displays, and product presentations are maintained to the highest standards

Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and supplier coordination to ensure optimal product availability

Enforce compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards

Prepare sales reports, inventory analyses, and performance metrics for management review

Handle any other ad hoc responsibilities assigned by management to support business growth and operational efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum 4-5 years of experience in cigar retail, luxury tobacco sales, or high-end hospitality/service management

Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a team

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Strong sales ability with a customer-first mindset

Positive attitude with attention to detail, strong teamwork skills and ability to work under pressure

Passion for cigars, luxury lifestyle, and premium hospitality

Remuneration Package

13th Month Pay + Commission

14 -21 days Annual Leave / 7 days off per month / 17 days Public Holiday / Birthday Leave
