Job summary

St. Andrew’s Nursing Home (Taman Jurong) seeks a facilities operations professional to support the Residential Manager and the HCAs in daily operations at the care centre. You will manage building services, M&E, cleaning, pest control, and health & safety compliance.

Key responsibilities include policy implementation, project management, and coordinating with vendors and IFM. The role requires a Diploma and at least 3 years in care-centre operations, with strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Minimum a Diploma in any field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to support residential operations in a care centre.
• Keen to learn about psychiatric rehabilitee work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Possess high analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of residential services and building, M&E, cleaning and pest control.
• Work with Residential Manager to develop, implement, and improve residential and facilities policies and procedures.
• Plan and implement all operational policies, objectives and initiatives.
• Responsible for project management work.
• Provide care and support to residential members.
• Be responsible for facilities services such as: maintenance of the center's facilities and security operations.
• Enhancing workplace environment by daily inspections.
• Monitors Workplace Safety & Health issues.
• Maintain floor fire-registers & coordinate fire drills twice a year.
• Support daily operation (cleanliness, waste management) and create conducive spaces.
• Work with vendors, contractors and IFM.
• Fire Safety Manager - fire drill, staff training and compliance.
• Lead ACCSM emergency response (fire, haze and terrorism)
• Responsible for facility related procurement.
• Manage external contractor and ensure monthly preventive maintenance.
• Assist with new admissions to the centre.
• Apply basic first aid & CPR during emergencies.
• Compile monthly statistics.
• Any other duties as assigned by reporting officer.
