Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Branch is seeking a senior Relationship Manager for Innovation Lending to lead venture debt implementations and manage a broad portfolio of technology clients in Hong Kong. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to deliver cross-border banking services and conducting rigorous credit analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA are preferred
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in corporate banking, technology finance, or investment banking
• Solid understanding of Hong Kong banking regulations and credit processes
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment capabilities
• Fluent in English and Chinese; proficiency in Cantonese is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Venture Debt Execution: Lead the implementation of venture debt solutions for technology companies, including product structuring, client due diligence, financial analysis, credit proposal design, and post-loan management throughout the full lifecycle.
• Core Banking Services: Provide foundational banking services to onboarded and contracted clients, including account opening, cross-border settlement, cross-border cash pooling, and foreign exchange management; coordinate internal resources within the Hong Kong branch to ensure efficient delivery of banking solutions.
• Investment-Lending Integration: Support the Ecosystem Partnership Director in investment committee processes by conducting independent credit risk assessments for prospective investments; structure and execute mezzanine financing solutions combining debt and equity features (e.g., debt plus warrants).
• Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with portfolio and contracted clients; conduct regular visits to understand business performance and evolving financing needs.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure all lending activities comply with Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) regulations and the bank’s internal risk and compliance policies.

What we're looking for
