Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd is recruiting for a Relationship Manager in Hong Kong. The role focuses on acquiring liabilities, CASA growth, and cross‑selling fee income to PRC/GBA clients.

You will monitor facilities, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with multiple departments to solve problems while ensuring compliance with SFO/ HKMA requirements. The candidate should have a business/ economics degree, strong credit judgment, excellent English and Putonghua communication, and RI licensing with HKSI passes.

Qualifications

• Preferably degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing or Economics.
• Good credit evaluation skill and good teamwork spirit.
• Good communication in both spoken and written English and Putonghua.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Must be registered RI (Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4) with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7& 8; or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Acquire new liabilities accounts, capture CASA and penetrate various fee income products to our clients with PRC/GBA as major focus
• Monitor account performance to ensure good utilization of facilities and to control overdue situations.
• Provide prompt and courteous response to customer inquiries in respect of all aspects of banking operations.
• Liaise with other departments to solve problems encountered by customers.
• Obtain up-to-date market information in the baking industry and help develop new products.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements imposed by regulatory authorities, and policies, standards, lending guidelines and procedures of the Bank.
• Perform regulated activities, type 1 and 4 specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO).
• Comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA and other regulator bodies. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC.
