Job summary

CONFIDENTIAL JOB OFFER is seeking a Talent Development Director to lead the talent strategy across leadership development, workforce planning, performance, learning, and succession. The ideal candidate will bring strong people leadership, regional experience, and thrive in a global matrix organization, based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities include leading Talent Development strategy, building scalable models across regions, and applying global frameworks with local flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• At least 16 years in HR, talent development, or learning.
• Proven team leadership experience.
• Strong experience with leadership assessments and talent analytics.
• China/APAC market knowledge and regional talent needs.
• Experience delivering high-impact leadership programs.
• Strong KPI development, program evaluation, and action planning.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead Talent Development strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Build scalable model across functions, regions, and units.
• Apply global frameworks with local flexibility.
• Oversee learning ecosystem, academies, content, and pathways.
• Measure skill adoption and program impact.
• Drive change to improve learning adoption.
• Lead leadership programs for executives and high-potential talent.
• Partner with HRBPs to address performance and gaps.
• Manage budgets and vendors; ensure governance and timelines.
