Job summary

Regent Hong Kong seeks a Purchasing professional to manage hotel supplies and equipment, ensuring timely deliveries to support daily operations. You will source quotations, negotiate prices, and liaise with vendors to maintain quality and value.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in purchasing/SCM or logistics, with 1–2 years’ purchasing experience. English and Chinese fluency is required; fresh graduates may be considered for an Assistant role in Purchasing.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in purchasing; fresh graduates welcome.
• Experience with SCM system is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Procure hotel supplies and equipment in line with hotel policies and procedures.
• Obtain information, specifications and quotations on items and handle correspondences and negotiations with suppliers.
• Meet with suppliers and stay informed of new products and prices.
• Follow up with vendors on discrepancies in quality.
• Maintain organized records of quotes, P.O. records, catalogues, reference data, etc.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Procure hotel supplies and equipment in compliance with hotel purchasing policies and procedures.
• Obtain information, specifications and quotations etc., on any item as required by the hotel and handle correspondences and negotiations for procurement.
• Meet with suppliers and stay informed of new products and prices.
• Follow up with vendors on any discrepancies in quality.
• Maintain organized records of files including quotations, P.O. records, catalogues, reference data etc.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification on purchasing, supply chain management or logistics etc.
• 1-2 years experience in purchasing, fresh graduates are also welcome
• Experience in SCM system will be an advantage
• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as Purchasing Assistant
