Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a dynamic professional to lead commercial fit-out and design & build projects in Hong Kong, from planning to close-out. You will coordinate with clients, landlords, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery within budget.

The role requires a degree in related fields, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong English/Putonghua communication. Candidates must be organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks under tight

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Interior Design, Building Surveying, Real Estate or related disciplines.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese (Putonghua), both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full-cycle commercial fit-out and design & build projects from planning and design through execution and close-out.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with clients, landlords, consultants, contractors, and vendors on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify risks, delays, or cost overruns and implement mitigations.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and resources with the Project Manager and escalate when needed.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Manage procurement, tendering, vendor evaluation, and contracts.
• Conduct regular site meetings, progress reviews, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Prepare project documentation including reports, progress updates, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Drive continuous improvement in execution processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full-cycle commercial fit-out and design & build projects, from planning and design coordination through to execution and project close-out
• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved specifications and quality standards
• Coordinate closely with clients, landlords, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
• Review and interpret drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Proactively identify project risks, potential delays, or cost overruns, and implement mitigation strategies
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation in collaboration with the Project Manager, providing timely updates and escalation where required
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, building codes, and health & safety requirements
• Manage procurement activities, including tendering, vendor evaluation, and contract administration
• Conduct regular site meetings, progress reviews, and reporting to stakeholders
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including reports, progress updates, variation orders, and final accounts
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes and standards

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Interior Design, Building Surveying, Real Estate or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in commercial fit-out and design build projects
• Independent as well as good team player with strong communication skills

• Well organized and attentive to detail
