Job summary

Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Company Limited is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee E&M works across development, renovation and A&A projects in Hong Kong. You will plan, coordinate and monitor drawings, site works and contractor performance from feasibility through handover.

You will lead BIM procurement, drive competency upgrades in the department, and ensure delivery within quality, schedule and budget while liaising with project initiators and end-users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Architecture, Engineering, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant project management experience in a sizable company, preferably with a property developer.
• Registered Architect, Chartered Engineer (CEng), IMechE or CIBSE or equivalent qualifications preferred.
• Construction and site experience in A&A projects highly preferred.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for the position of Project Manager.
• Basic AI skills will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.

• Supervise electrical and mechanical aspects on feasibility projects, including rectification and upgrading works.
• Coordinate with project initiators and end-users on requirements, specifications and handover.

We are looking for a talent to:

Responsible for advising, planning, coordinating and monitoring E&M works for all projects including new development, renovation, and A&A projects from feasibility to completion;

Monitor, review, and inspect consultants' and contractors' drawings and site works.

Introduce the procurement of BIM and facilitate the competency upgrade to the Department

Ensure projects are delivered within the required quality standards, schedule, and budget.

Assist the department in supervising the full spectrum of electrical and mechanical aspects on feasibility projects, including rectification, improvement and upgrading works for Company’s properties.

Coordinate closely with Project Initiators and end-users from various departments regarding project requirements, specifications, and handover procedures.

Manage projects on electrical and mechanical installation including project objective formulation, design, tender proposal preparation, contract administration and contractors’ and suppliers’ performance monitoring and evaluation.

Oversee building facilities works and projects to ensure the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency

Conduct inspection and monitor work progress to ensure reliability of E&M system, quality of project and compliance with statutory requirements

Basic requirements:

Bachelor's degree or above in Architecture, Engineering, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant project management experience in a sizable company, preferably with a property developer.

Registered Architect, Chartered Engineer (CEng), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) or the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred.

Construction and site experience in A&A projects is highly preferred.

Candidates with more experience will be considered for the position of Project Manager.

Basic AI skills will be an advantage.

Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong resilience, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and be receptive to constructive feedback.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
