Job summary

Upway-Group is seeking a Senior Project/Product Manager to lead requirements gathering, PRD creation, and cross-functional coordination across Marketing, CS, Ops, and Trading.

You will own project plans, roadmaps, and milestones, ensuring timely delivery and measurable success. The role emphasizes API knowledge, vendor liaison, and UAT coordination in a fintech/trading environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirement gathering and documenting user flows.
• Ability to translate requirements into PRDs and workflows.
• Strong understanding of web/app development lifecycle and APIs.
• Proficient with Jira/ClickUp/Asana and Confluence/Notion.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Fintech/Trading/Payment/SaaS background preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Requirement Management & Documentation: Collect and consolidate business requirements across Marketing, CS, Ops, and Trading; translate them into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), workflows, and functional specifications.
• Project Planning & Roadmap: Develop detailed project plans, implementation roadmaps, and milestones; define success metrics and provide regular progress visibility to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between Business, Tech, and external vendors to align priorities, manage resource allocation, and drive decision-making.
• Project Execution & Delivery: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle from requirement gathering to launch; monitor development progress and proactively resolve risks or bottlenecks.
• Quality Assurance & Launch: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing cycles with QA and business stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet all business objectives before release.
• Continuous Optimization: Monitor post-launch performance, gather user feedback, and identify opportunities to improve product workflows, payment flows, and the overall trading experience.
• Data Analysis & Business Support: Analyze operational data and user behavior metrics to generate actionable insights, supporting business owners in strategic planning and conversion optimization.

Requirements

• Core PM Competencies: Expertise in requirement gathering, documenting user flows, and wireframing; solid experience in risk management and timeline control.
• Technical Understanding: Strong logical grasp of the web/app development lifecycle, APIs, and system integration logic (ability to communicate effectively with developers).
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving ability with experience interpreting data into actionable insights; familiarity with data tracking tools or SQL is a plus.
• Software Proficiency: Expert user of project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Asana, and documentation tools like Confluence or Notion.
• Communication & Languages: Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with MT4/MT5 platforms, payment gateway integrations, KYC/onboarding compliance, and UX optimization.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 3–6 years of experience in Project Management, Product Management, or Business Analysis.
• Industry Background: Proven track record in Fintech, Trading, Payment, or SaaS industries is highly preferred.
• Mindset: Takes full responsibility for project outcomes beyond the defined scope.
