Job summary

Automated Systems (HK) Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Junior Software Developer to contribute across the full SDLC, building web applications and backend systems using Java and React.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, participate in design, development, testing and deployment, and help improve performance and user experience for business users and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related discipline
• 1 year of software development experience (fresh graduates with strong skills considered)
• Knowledge of web app development with modern frameworks and MVC architecture
• Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, RESTful APIs and SQL databases
• Understanding of software development best practices, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies a plus
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Job Requirements:

Understanding of software development best practices, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies is an advantage
