Job Description

• Participate in Agile teams to develop and enhance enterprise applications and services
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
• Take ownership of system enhancement initiatives and production incident resolution
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and offshore teams
• Design and develop backend services to support customer-facing applications
• Proactively identify, analyse, and resolve system defects and performance issues
• Evaluate multiple solution options, balancing technical feasibility and business needs
• Ensure development quality, security standards, and delivery timelines are met

The Successful Applicant

• Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, with exposure to React or React Native
• Solid understanding of Node.js and modern web application architectures
• Proven ability to perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution
• Minimum 3 years of development experience, with at least 1 year in core required technologies
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Background in medium-scale system enhancements, including web and batch processing
• Prior experience fixing penetration test or security vulnerabilities is an advantage
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing 2-5 developers, including offshore teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline
• Strong English communication skills with native Cantonese proficiency
• Less experienced candidates will be considered for a Developer-level position
