Job summary

Sigra Ventures Limited, a Hong Kong-based manufacturing, sourcing and trading company, is seeking an experienced Merchandiser/Developer to lead product development across apparel and homeware. You will take ownership from brief through sourcing, development, sampling, costing, order placement and production handover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in merchandising, product development, sourcing or manufacturing/trading.
• Strong experience in apparel/garments, with homeware or other consumer products preferred.
• Strong product development mentality and ability to turn a customer brief or concept into a commercially viable product.
• Good knowledge of fabrics, trims, materials, garment construction, sampling and manufacturing processes.
• Experience sourcing and evaluating factories and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development and merchandising across apparel, textiles, homeware and related consumer products.
• Take ownership of developments from initial concept or customer enquiry through final approval and production.
• Work directly with customers to understand product requirements, specifications, target pricing, quality standards and delivery expectations.
• Develop new products and proactively source suitable factories, suppliers, materials and manufacturing solutions.
• Research and identify new product opportunities, materials, constructions and manufacturing capabilities.
• Coordinate sampling, materials, components, packaging, specifications and costing.
