Job summary

ConnectedGroup is seeking a Senior Merchandiser (Apparel & Product Development) in Hong Kong. You will manage the entire merchandising lifecycle from product development to production and shipment, collaborating directly with brands, factories, and suppliers across Asia.

The role requires hands-on execution, problem-solving, and ability to operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. Ideal candidates have 4–10 years in merchandising, product development, sourcing, or production

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of experience in merchandising, product development, sourcing, or production management.
• Experience with apparel, fashion accessories, footwear, or consumer products.
• Strong costing, sampling, factory management, vendor management, and quality control knowledge.
• Fluent English communication; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end merchandising from development through production and shipment.
• Liaise with clients, factories, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Source and develop factory and vendor partnerships.
• Handle costing, sampling, production follow-up, quality and delivery management.
• Identify and resolve sourcing and production issues; build scalable processes.
• Support implementation of tools, systems, and best practices; travel to factories in China/Asia.

They are looking for a hands‑on Senior Merchandiser to join their growing Asia team and play a key role in managing client projects, factory partnerships, and production execution while helping build the systems and processes that will support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end merchandising activities from development through production and shipment
• Liaise directly with clients, factories, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Source and develop factory and vendor partnerships
• Handle costing, sampling, production follow‑up, quality and delivery management
• Identify and resolve sourcing and production issues proactivelyBuild and improve operational processes and workflows as the business scales
• Support the implementation of tools, systems, and best practices across the operation
• Travel regularly to factories within China and Asia as required
