Job summary

HR Plus in Hong Kong is seeking a Merchandiser - Product Development to join our wholesale distribution team. You will contribute to developing new products from concept to production, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 4-5 years of experience in product development or related fields, strong English and Chinese communication, and the ability to manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• F.5 or above educational background.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in product development, labelling/packing, or hardware/novelty industry.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Strong organizational skills with a proactive and diligent work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Chinese Word Processing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products from concept to production.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and demands.
• Source and select appropriate materials, suppliers, and manufacturers.
• Manage the product development timeline and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor product quality and make necessary improvements or adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Provide input and recommendations for product enhancements and innovations.
