The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a luxury service environment, strong organisational and people-management skills, and a high level of discretion. Travel may be required and confidentiality is essential.

Our client is seeking an experienced Private Household Manager / Personal Assistant to oversee the smooth running of a private residence and provide high-level personal support to the Principal and family.

The successful candidate will be a highly service-oriented professional with strong organisational and people management skills, excellent judgement and discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs and maintain exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the private residence, ensuring consistently high standards of service, organisation and presentation.
• Supervise and coordinate household staff, providing guidance and maintaining high service and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate household maintenance, vendors, contractors and other external service providers.
• Manage personal arrangements including appointments, reservations, travel logistics, personal purchases and other day-to-day matters.
• Anticipate the needs of the Principal and family and handle requests proactively, efficiently and discreetly.
• Accompany the Principal and family on domestic and international travel when required.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism and discretion at all times.

Requirements

• Able to communicate in Malay, with fluency in English and Mandarin highly preferred.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience with a leading full-service international airline, ideally within premium service, inflight service or customer experience.
• Prior experience in private household management, personal assistance or private client service would be highly regarded.
• University degree or equivalent tertiary qualification preferred.
• Flexible and mobile, with the ability and willingness to travel frequently and relocate as required.
• Strong service orientation with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate individual preferences and needs.
• Strong organisational and people management capabilities, with the confidence to supervise household staff and coordinate multiple service providers.
