Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an Assistant Manager, PMO & Project Governance to build and operate a centralized PMO within its IT professional services business. You will report to the Operations Director and partner with project managers, delivery leaders, finance, and senior management to improve planning, governance, and delivery visibility.

This hands-on role moves beyond administration to establish governance practices, reporting standards, and continuous improvement across a growing client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant discipline.
• 4–7 years of PMO, project governance, project operations or related experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects in a client-facing environment.
• Strong reporting, governance, RAID management, change control and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate a centralized PMO for client delivery projects.
• Maintain governance standards, templates, reporting routines and stage-gate processes.
• Ensure consistent adoption of governance across initiation, planning, delivery, monitoring, change control and closure.
• Coordinate project health checks, governance reviews, and audits.
• Prepare weekly and monthly PMO dashboards and management reports.
