Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc in Hong Kong is seeking a People & Culture Business Partnering Assistant Manager/Manager to partner with business leaders, align people priorities with business objectives, and drive a high-performing, engaged workforce.

You will lead strategic people initiatives including workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and analytics, while ensuring compliance with the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solid business partnering experience in a matrix organisation, preferably in Retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and HR best practices.
• Experience in workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, and change management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships across levels and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted P&C partner to business leaders, aligning people priorities with business objectives.
• Provide strategic advice on organization design, workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and change initiatives.
• Identify people-related risks and opportunities, developing solutions to improve organizational effectiveness and business performance.
• Coach and influence leaders on performance management, talent development, employee relations, and team effectiveness.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent review processes to build sustainable talent pipelines.
• Partner with leaders to assess capability gaps and implement development strategies for critical roles.
• Support organizational design and transformation initiatives to enable business growth and change.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, and workplace concerns.
• Ensure people practices are fair, consistent, and compliant with company policies and employment legislation.
• Drive engagement and culture initiatives that strengthen employee experience and reinforce company values.
• Lead annual people processes, including performance management, salary review, talent planning, and labour budgeting.
• Deliver workforce insights and analytics on headcount, turnover, vacancies, productivity, and workforce costs to support business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain people dashboards and KPIs to monitor organizational health and effectiveness.
