Part-time Project Assistant (International Relations)

Looking for hands-on experience in global trade, market expansion, and international affairs? HKGCC is seeking a proactive Part-time Project Assistant to join our International Relations Division. You will work closely with foreign business communities, consulates, government agencies, and overseas markets while supporting strategic chamber initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Analysis: Conduct research on trade trends, overseas markets, and benchmarking studies; compile reports and briefing notes.

Event Coordination: Assist with seminars, business missions, delegation visits, and committee meetings, including logistics and materials preparation.

Communications & Content Development: Draft business correspondence and social media content; design event banners and promotional materials.

Stakeholder Outreach: Update partner databases and support engagement initiatives with local and international stakeholders.

Requirements

Education: Current undergraduate/postgraduate student or recent graduate in Business, International Relations, Political Science, Communications, Economics, or related fields.

Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Canva or Adobe Suite is preferred.

Soft Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable with strong cross-cultural awareness.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, or other foreign languages would be an advantage.

Regional Exposure: Possess exposure to or knowledge of Central Asian markets (e.g., Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan) is a distinct asset.

Able to work at least 2 full working days per week. Immediate Availability would be a definite advantage.
