Job summary

Hong Kong Trade Development Council seeks a dynamic, high-calibre Human Resources professional to join our team. Provide expert guidance across global HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance and reward management, employee relations and HR initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have a university degree and at least 12 years of relevant HR experience in sizeable organisations, with broad exposure to compensation & benefits, performance management and employee relations.

Qualifications

  • University graduate or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 12 years' relevant HR experience, preferably gained from sizable organisations.
  • Broad exposure across multiple HR functions, including compensation & benefits management, performance management and employee relations.
  • Experience in supporting global or regional HR operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional advice and support on a full spectrum of global HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance and reward management, employee relations, and HR initiatives;
  • Assist in managing cross countries compensation-related processes, including market benchmarking, annual pay trend review, and promotion exercises;
  • Manage staff cases, including employee relations and case management, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes;
  • Support supervisor in the formulation, review and implementation of HR policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, statutory requirements and best practices;
  • Take lead in HR projects and initiatives as assigned by supervisor.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.

We are seeking for a dynamic, high-calibre and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team.

Key responsibilities

Provide professional advice and support on a full spectrum of global HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance and reward management, employee relations, and HR initiatives;

About you

Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with different levels of employees;

Resourceful and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision;

Strong work ethics with high degree of integrity;

Service-oriented, attentive to details with a "can-do" attitude;

Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Manager, Human Resources
