Job summary

Job description

Tempo Jiu Jitsu is seeking an organized, energetic, and socially confident front-desk professional to be the face of our gym during peak evening classes. You will welcome members and first-time trial students, guide newcomers through our membership options, manage gym operations, and help create engaging content for our social media channels.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members warmly, welcome first-time trial students, and introduce them to our gym facility, culture, and community
• Guide new starters through our onboarding process, walk them through membership options post-class, and execute our sales flow to convert trials into active members
• Manage and update memberships, trial bookings, and check-ins using our gym CRM software
• Capture high-quality photos and videos during and after class, assisting in creating engaging content for our social media channels
• Ensure the reception area, lounge, and facility remain tidy, organized, and professional throughout your shift, assisting with light cleanup when needed

About you

• Outstanding communication skills with a natural ability to connect with people
• Comfort with basic sales and membership conversion processes is highly preferred
• Absolute precision with timekeeping is non-negotiable; you must arrive exactly on time to open up the desk before peak evening classes begin
• Comfortable utilizing or quickly learning gym management software (CRM) and active on social media
• Instagram and TikTok content creation and video shooting skills are a huge plus
• Fluency in English is essential; conversational Cantonese or Mandarin is a major advantage
• An interest in martial arts, fitness, or the local active community is highly regarded but not mandatory
