Job summary

The Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited is inviting suitable candidates for the Part-time Accounting Officer role. The officer will report to the Accounting Officer and manage duties across cost centres, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial procedures.

Responsibilities include processing payments, travel expense settlements, daily cash handling, journals, and reconciliations, with filing and support for month-end analyses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 HKCEE/HKDSE passes or equivalent/post-secondary qualification.
• LCCI Level 2 or a diploma/higher certificate in Accounting preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payments, prepare payment vouchers and dispatch cheques.
• Process advance payments and final settlements of overseas duty travel expenses.
• Handle daily collection, cash count and reconciliation.
• Handle petty cash disbursement, replenishment and journal preparation.
• Maintain creditors and debtors accounts and other funding accounts.
• Prepare for month-end journals and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in regular and month-end analysis and reports.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
