Job summary

Haven of Hope Christian Service on Hong Kong Island seeks an Operations Manager for Rehabilitation Service to oversee centre-based and home-based programs for people with disabilities. You will lead a transdisciplinary team, ensure service quality and compliance, and foster collaboration with key partners.

The role requires a Social Work degree with 5+ years in management, strong leadership, bilingual Chinese/English, and experience in disability services.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Social Work with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership, people management, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to lead teams through service development and change.
• Knowledge or experience in ICF, case management, assistive technology, and transdisciplinary practice is a plus.
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Experience in center-based and home-based services for people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transdisciplinary team to deliver centre-based and home-based services for PWDs.
• Monitor service performance, quality, and outcomes; ensure compliance with funding and service requirements.
• Develop and maintain collaboration and referral networks with stakeholders and partners.
• Promote ICF adoption, staff development, and service innovation; apply assistive technology.
• Assist the Operations General Manager in planning for proposed ICRC, including workflows, staffing, procedures, and readiness.
• Ensure quality services align with Haven of Hope Christian Service’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transdisciplinary team to deliver centre-based and home-based services for PWDs
• Monitor service performance, service quality, outcome indicators and ensure compliance with relevant funding and service requirements
• Develop and maintain effective collaboration and referral networks with key stakeholders and community partners
• Drive the implementation of ICF, promote transdisciplinary collaboration, staff development, service innovation and the application of assistive technology
• Assist the Operations General Manager in the planning and preparation for the proposed ICRC, including service workflow, manpower planning, operational procedures, premises setup and service readiness
• Ensure the provision of quality services in alignment with Haven of Hope Christian Service’s Vision, Mission and Core Values

Requirements

• Degree or above in Social Work, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in management position
• Strong leadership, people management, problem solving and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, proactive and capable of leading teams through service development and change
• Knowledge or practical experience in ICF, case management, assistive technology, transdisciplinary practice and evidence-based practice will be an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
• Past experience in center-based and home-based service for PWDs
