Job summary

Haven of Hope Christian Service in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support daily operations of the District Elderly Community Service and to help manage budgets and community networks.

You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, handle incidents, and ensure compliant service delivery, while aligning with the organisation's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or above.
• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in elderly services.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Mature, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, proactive and systems thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations General Manager in managing and developing daily operations of the District Elderly Community Service, ensuring smooth service delivery and efficient use of resources
• Assist the supervisor in developing, managing center’s budget and overseeing all financial transactions
• Strategically plan and develop community networks with local stakeholders
• Participate in formulating operational workflows and guidelines and monitor the quality and compliance
• Supervise and support multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality of service delivery
• Handle critical incidents, service complaints, and emergencies with timely and appropriate interventions
