Job summary

Lufthansa Cargo in Hong Kong is seeking a Load Master/Cargo Operations professional to join a dynamic aviation team. You will plan aircraft load distribution, prepare flight and NOTOC documentation, and coordinate with Ground Handling Agents and cargo teams to ensure smooth operations.

You will inspect ULDs, monitor ramp safety, and maintain data while providing crew support and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Shift work is required onsite.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent higher education qualification; alternatively, a high school diploma with 3–6 years of relevant professional experience
• Must be willing to work in shifts and from the onsite location
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of local customs regulations and relevant cargo-handling procedures
• Good computer literacy and proficiency in standard computer applications
• Must possess a valid driving license

Responsibilities

• Plan aircraft load distribution and cargo loading in accordance with applicable regulations and Ground Operations Manual (GOM) requirements
• Prepare flight, customs, load, and Notification to Captain (NOTOC) documentation and operational messages
• Coordinate and monitor Ground Handling Agents (GHA), suppliers, cargo handling, loading/unloading, and station activities
• Inspect Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and monitor ramp safety, cleanliness, equipment, staffing and operational readiness
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, and service standards and report irregularities and incidents
• Maintain operational and statistical data and complete post-flight activities
• Provide crew support, including briefings, catering and hotel arrangements
• Support GHA supervision, manpower planning, performance monitoring, training and corrective actions
• Perform Load Master, surveillance, cargo handling, and other operational duties as assignedCollaborate closely with Management, Cargo Operations, warehouse teams, crew and operational stakeholders
