Job summary

Agricultural Bank of China (HK Branch) is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager in Institutional Banking Dept (Custody Services) to support end-to-end onboarding for institutional clients, including QFII/QDII investors and funds.

The role covers KYC/AML, document review, account opening, maintenance, periodic reviews, and coordination with Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Custody teams to meet SLA standards. Fresh grads with banking/KYC internship are welcomed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in client onboarding, KYC/AML, or ARM support.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship in banking/KYC are welcome.
• Familiarity with custody services and institutional funds is a plus.
• Knowledge of HKMA/SFC AML/CFT rules.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end onboarding for institutional clients.
• Verify identification documents and regulatory compliance.
• Perform name screening, PEP checks, adverse media checks.
• Prepare account opening packages and legal agreements.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and Custody teams to ensure timely activation.
• Conduct regular KYC periodic reviews for existing custody clients.
• Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks related to onboarding.
• Monitor onboarding status and SLA compliance.
