Job summary

HKBN is seeking an experienced system and server support specialist to monitor and maintain our server, network, and system infrastructures in a fast-paced environment. You will handle daily fault cases, incident support, and troubleshooting while applying Linux OS patches and software upgrades.

The role requires a diploma or above, at least four years in system or server support, knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SAN and SMTP/IMAP/POP3, plus Linux server and firewall administration.

Qualifications

4+ years of working experience in system or server support.
Diploma or above in Computer Science or related field.
Knowledge of Internet services and applications.
Hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, SAN, SMTP/POP3/IMAP.
Proficiency in Linux server administration and firewall management.
Experience with virtualization, storage and backups.
Experience with scripting or programming languages is preferred.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain server, network and system infrastructures performance.
Daily fault case handling, incident support and troubleshooting.
Conduct operating system patches and software upgrades.
Teamworking as well as ability to work independently and under pressure.
