Job summary

C2 Computer Technology Limited is seeking a Network Engineer to support a government client's network infrastructure, collaborating with the ATAL team to ensure reliable connectivity.

You will configure, maintain and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls and wireless gear, monitor performance, handle upgrades, and document changes while following security procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise network administration and technical support.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and switching.
• Understanding of firewall policies and VPNs.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support a government client's network infrastructure, working closely with the ATAL team.

Key responsibilities

Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls and wireless equipment.

Monitor network availability and performance, investigate incidents and resolve connectivity issues.

Perform approved network upgrades, firmware updates and configuration changes.

Follow the client's security requirements, operational procedures and change approval processes.

Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, backups and incident reports.

Coordinate with ATAL personnel and government client representatives on daily operations and technical matters.

Handle sensitive information with care and maintain confidentiality.

About you

Relevant experience in enterprise network administration and technical support.

Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs and firewall policies.

Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to technical work.

High attention to detail, with the ability to follow procedures and document changes accurately.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, would be an advantage.

Experience supporting government or other tightly controlled IT environments would be an advantage.

Available to work Monday to Saturday, 09:00–18:00.
