Responsibilities

• Responsible to manage the overall network infrastructure to our Managed Services customer
• Responsible for network infrastructure project implementation
• Manage and work with vendors to resolve network incidents and problems
• Function as consultant on network and security solutions to provide service delivery
• Develop guidelines/procedures to ensure the operation of network infrastructure meets SLA
• Implement monitor and maintain the LAN/WAN and Network Security
• Provides advice and guidance relating to their area of technical specialty
• Ensure that quality solutions are well tested, and delivered in line with customer’s IT policies, standards and procedures
• Co-ordinate with Sales to presale various projects

Network Engineer – Managed Service

Responsibilities

• Responsible to manage the overall network infrastructure to our Managed Services customer
• Responsible for network infrastructure project implementation
• Maintain system documentation and asset inventory management
• Manage and work with vendors to resolve network incidents and problems
• Function as consultant on network and security solutions to provide service delivery
• Develop guidelines/procedures to ensure the operation of network infrastructure meets SLA

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline
• Min 5 years relevant working experience in IT infrastructure
• Hands on experience in LAN/WAN/MPLS, networking and routing
• Hands on experience on security products administration such as Firewall, F5, IPS and IDS (Juniper/Cisco)
• Knowledge in VoIP systems (e,g, Cisco, Avaya, NEC) is an advantage
• Cisco and Fortinet certifications are preferred. e.g CCNP
• Knowledge of service management best practice (e.g. ITIL, ISO20000)
• Knowledge or experience in IT security is an advantage
• Project management and vendor management experience
• Willing to work under pressure
• Able to work independently and good interpersonal skills to interact with team members
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese, including Putonghua

Requirements

• Bachelor/Higher Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• Professional qualification on networking (e.g. CCNA, CCNP) is preferred
• Hands-on experience of Routers/ Switches, Firewall, Wireless Network and other networking equipment (e.g. Load Balancer, WAF, NAC)
• Experience in supporting Cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is an advantage
• Knowledge of service management best practice (e.g. ITIL, ISO20000)
• Good problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis
• Willing to work under pressure
• Able to work independently and good interpersonal skills to interact with team members
