Job description

Network Engineer (40-55K)

• Manage and oversee large-scale network projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and document network architecture and configuration standards.
• Design and transform the corporate network.
• Develop the network governance framework and define standards for on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
• Enhance and optimize network performance and security to meet standards.
• Co-ordinate the inter-networking with local and regional network support.
• Liaise with vendors for project implementation.
• Assist in the design and implementation of network architecture, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Conduct regular network audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in network architecture.
• Provide technical support.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely resolution of network-related issues

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 8 years of experience.
• Relevant experience in data center migration is required.
• Familiarity with F5, H3C, Aruba, Cisco Palo alto, FortiGate, and Checkpoint is necessary.
• Proficient in network technologies and protocols, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, and WLAN
• A good team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, positive attitude, fast learner, energetic, and able to perform in challenging environments
