Job summary

A HKSAR Government Department is seeking personnel to provide implementation and system support for network equipment, video and related telecommunications projects in Hong Kong. Selected candidates will monitor networks, report issues, and coordinate with project teams and contractors.

Responsibilities include daily fault reporting, system performance tracking, and arranging contractor site access while facilitating resolution between contractors and site owners.

Qualifications

• DSE or HKCEE with 5 subjects including Chinese and English.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience with maintenance and system support for real-time operations.

• Prepare daily fault, performance and related operation reports.

Selected candidates will be assigned to work in the government department to provide implementation and system support, follow up with fault reporting issues for performing network equipment, video and related telecommunications projects.

Responsibilities:

• To monitor the network management and other supporting systems and communicate with users, project team and contractors on the issues found
• To perform the daily reports on the system faults, performance and other related jobs conducted during the duty period
• To provide logistic arrangements for the contractor for site access to rectify the faults or perform routine jobs and necessary support for solving the issues between the contractors and site owners

Requirements:

• DSE or HKCEE’s certificate holder with 5 subjects in level 2 including Chinese and English
• At least 2 years working experience in similar capacity
• Solid experience in Project Management and Issue Tracking System and Vendor Management
• Solid knowledge or experience with the corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and system support on real time operation systems
• Solid experience in either network, server, video system, or fibre/mobile communications system
• Solid knowledge or experience with Network Management Systems (NMS) and IT service ticketing workflow
