Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Manager for the Medium Enterprise/Business Banking Centre to lead client relationships with ME/SME customers and explore new sales opportunities in Hong Kong.

You will drive cross-selling of retail banking products, manage portfolios with a focus on retention and referrals, and prepare credit proposals in line with risk guidelines. Strong English and Putonghua skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or equivalent in Business or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of credit and marketing experience in commercial banking.
• ECF CRM qualification preferred under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework.
• Strong analytical mind and proactive approach.
• Good interpersonal and people management skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Responsible for building relationships with ME / SME customers and exploring new sales opportunities

Key Responsibilities

Explore new business opportunities of commercial banking products through different business networks and channels to achieve designated business targets

Cross-sell retail banking product to ME / SME customers

Manage account portfolio and maintain close relationship with customers for business retention and referrals

Prepare credit proposals by negotiation of credit terms, pricing and collateral requirements in accordance with the bank’s guidelines

Identify and minimize credit risk within the portfolio through regular credit reviews

Monitor loan repayment of customers; follow up and collect overdue payment

Perform annual review of high risk / unsuitable customers timely

Requirements

Preferably a Degree holder or equivalent in Business or related disciplines

Minimum 3 years of credit and marketing experience in commercial banking environment with proven record in new customer cultivation

Preferably possess / obtain Core or Professional level of qualification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Credit Risk Management (CRM)

Strong analytical mind and proactive

Good interpersonal and people management skills

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
