Job summary

Bank of Communications Hong Kong Branch is seeking a senior C&B professional to lead compensation and benefits, and oversee daily HR operations for its investment banking arms. You will drive annual salary surveys, manage the HR budget and bonus reviews, and supervise payroll across HK, SH and BJ, while maintaining HRIS and key reports.

The role requires strong Excel skills, fluent bilingual communication, and a disciplined, team‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in HRM or related discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years of C&B and HR operations experience.
• Familiarity with payroll in HK and PRC laws advantageous.
• Strong numerical and detail orientation.

Job description

• Lead C&B projects and coach junior staff to execute all activities in compensation & benefits and daily HR operations for our investing banking arms.
• Responsible for annual salary survey, annual HR budget, bonus and salary review
• Take in charge of payroll administration in HK, SH and BJ
• Maintain IPL (HRIS) & e-Leave system and compile HR data management, cost analysis, and management reporting such as headcount report, turnover analysis and etc.
• Review and update C&B procedures, standards and policies
• Ensure that all employee records are fully complied with group policies and handle relevant enquiries from employees

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Human Resources Management/related discipline or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in C&B and HR operations preferably in financial institutions
• Familiar with payroll administration with knowledge of PRC Labour and Tax Law is an advantage
• Solid experience in salary survey and job matching
• Strong sense of responsibility, highly numerate and detail-oriented
• Good team player with strong supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both English and Chinese with fluency in Putonghua
• Highly proficient at MS Excel and Chinese word processing
