Bang Hong Electrical & Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced M&E Safety Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region.

You will oversee mechanical and electrical safety across construction and engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety legislation and industry standards. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in health, safety and environment roles within construction or engineering.
• Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical safety management on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore's WSH Act and relevant regulations and codes of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage workers at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programmes.
• Experience in incident investigation, hazard identification and risk assessment methods.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

About the role

Bang Hong Electrical & Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced M&E Safety Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region. This is a crucial position within our Health, Safety and Environment function, where you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical and electrical safety operations across our construction and engineering projects. As M&E Safety Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all safety protocols, regulations, and best practices are implemented and maintained throughout our operations. This position reports to senior management and is essential to protecting our workforce whilst maintaining compliance with all relevant safety legislation and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and risks related to mechanical and electrical work

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive M&E safety plans tailored to specific project requirements

• Provide safety induction and training to all workers involved in mechanical and electrical operations

• Monitor and ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, work permits and risk assessment documentation

• Investigate safety incidents, accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions

• Conduct tool box talks and safety briefings to keep staff informed of emerging risks and safe working practices

• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors and contractors to establish and reinforce a strong safety culture

• Maintain comprehensive safety records, statistics and reports for management review and regulatory compliance

• Ensure proper use, maintenance and storage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment

• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external safety consultants when necessary

What we're looking for

• Valid driving licence would be advantageous for site mobility requirements
