Job summary

Bang Hong Electrical & Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced M&E Safety Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region.

You will oversee mechanical and electrical safety across construction and engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety legislation and industry standards. You will conduct site inspections, develop M&E safety plans, provide safety training, and monitor adherence to permits and risk assessments, while collaborating

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in health, safety and environment roles within construction or engineering.
• Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical safety management on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore's WSH Act and relevant regulations and codes of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage workers at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programmes.
• Experience in incident investigation, hazard identification and risk assessment methods.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards in mechanical and electrical work.
• Develop, implement and maintain M&E safety plans for specific projects.
• Provide safety induction and training to workers involved in mechanical and electrical operations.
• Monitor adherence to safety procedures, permits and risk assessments.
• Investigate safety incidents, accidents and near-misses; document findings and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to communicate risks and safe practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to reinforce a safety culture and maintain records for compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external safety consultants as needed.
