Job summary

Bang Hong Electrical & Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled M&E Project Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Singapore.

This role will manage and coordinate mechanical and electrical projects from conception through to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence and high quality. The position requires 3–5 years in M&E project management, strong knowledge of systems, and proficiency with MS Project, AutoCAD or BIM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years' experience in M&E project management or project engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and maintenance procedures.
• Proficient with MS Project, AutoCAD or BIM software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Familiar with Singapore building codes and safety standards.

About the role

Bang Hong Electrical & Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled M&E Project Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a full-time position based in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region. As an M&E Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating mechanical and electrical projects from conception through to completion. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards

• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams to facilitate project communication and resolve issues promptly

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, technical specifications and progress reports

• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays or cost overruns

• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations

• Manage procurement processes for materials, equipment and services required for project delivery

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents

• Support the estimation and tendering process for new projects

• Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety standards, building codes and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with design teams to resolve technical challenges and optimise project outcomes

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline

• 3-5 years of experience in M&E project management or project engineering roles

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, installation and maintenance procedures

• Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or BIM software

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels

• Sound understanding of relevant Singapore building codes, regulations and safety standards

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project challenges

• Valid driving licence would be advantageous for site visits and inspections
