Banco Santander SA in Hong Kong seeks a Vice President to lead Korea Coverage, managing relationships with Korean corporate clients and selected Korean financial institutions. The role focuses on originating and coordinating strategic banking opportunities using the bank's full range of products and advisory services.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of banking experience with Korean clients, strong ownership, and fluency in Korean and English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Master's/CFA a plus).
8–12 years of banking/financial services experience with Korean clients.
Native Korean; fluent English; strong communication and stakeholder skills.
Strong ownership, integrity and commercial acumen.
Independent, proactive, and able to navigate ambiguity to drive results.

Responsabilités

Act as primary relationship manager for Korean conglomerates and large corporates.
Develop deep client insights and build trusted partnerships to drive engagement.
Originate and execute client strategies to grow revenue.
Identify cross-selling opportunities across lending, capital markets, and treasury solutions.
Coordinate with product, credit, risk, legal, and operations to structure transactions.
Lead deal coordination and ensure efficient credit approvals, due diligence, and documentation.
Oversee onboarding and ongoing reviews including KYC/AML.
