BBVA is seeking a Corporate Banking professional in Hong Kong to help define sales strategy and drive new business through pricing, cross-selling, and strategic client engagement. The role links BBVA with major clients and partners across units to maximize profitability and growth.

The successful candidate will cover a client's portfolio end-to-end, coordinating with product, risk and legal teams to execute the sales plan and expand BBVA's wallet share with target clients.

• Understand clients' needs and strategic decisions.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of potential and probable new business wins, documenting status throughout the sales process.
• Stay abreast of national and international news that may affect his/her sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of potential and probable new business wins, documenting status and assumptions throughout the sales process.
• Understand clients' needs and strategic decisions.
• Stay abreast of national and international news that may affect his/her sector.
• Interact directly with client top management, often with product units, providing global coverage.
• Review and update customer's financial programs according to risk consumption.
• Manage the entire admission process (proposal's preparation, submission and presentation for approval).
• Register, monitor, modify and update customers' activity, profitability and business opportunities in the in-house client management tools (Global Desktop).
• Represent BBVA at external market/industry forums and roadshows.
