Promise (Hong Kong) Co., Limited is seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator to join our team in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. You will coordinate and support technology initiatives to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high standards across applications, infrastructure, and processes.

The role requires 3+ years in IT project coordination, familiarity with IT security practices, and strong communication in English and Cantonese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• At least 3 years of IT project coordination experience.
• Experience managing IT projects is a must.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.
• Banking/Financial services experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Japanese preferred.
• Familiarity with IT security standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities across development, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Present updates and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
• Prepare documentation for internal project approvals.

About the role We are seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Promise (Hong Kong) Co., Limited. You will play a crucial role in managing the successful delivery of our technology projects. As an IT Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting various aspects of our technology initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the creation and managementof project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate project activitiesacross the Application Development Team, Infrastructure Team, and various business departments.
• Present project updatesand strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Prepare documentationand materials for internal project approval processes.
• Ensure complianceof all IT applications and infrastructure settings with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Support the implementationof security measures, regular audits, and risk assessments for applications.

What we're looking for

• University degreein Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experienceas an IT Project Management Assistant or in a similar coordination role.
• IT project experienceis a must.
• PMP or similarproject management certification is a significant plus.
• Experience in Banking & Financial Servicesis an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skillswith meticulous attention to detail.
• Technical knowledgein ITIL, Programming, or Database Management is an advantage.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices(e.g., NIST, ISO27001) is preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional commandof written and spoken English, and Cantonese.
• Japanese language proficiency is highly preferred and will be considered a distinct advantage.
