Job summary

Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is seeking an experienced project leader to manage cross‑functional initiatives within the banking sector.

You will drive project lifecycles, coordinate users, developers and vendors, and ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables. Requirements include a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or Information Systems, at least five years of project management experience in banking, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ solid project management experience in banking.
• Strong business knowledge in banking; channel management and IT audit preferred.
• Proven track record managing sizable cross-functional projects with results.
• Advanced stakeholder management with senior stakeholders and sponsors.

Job description

• Lead, manage and implement projects to ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables
• Monitor project budget and progress and maintain good relationship with users, developers and vendors
• Manage project processes, documentation, progress reporting, status meeting and escalation effectively
• Degree holder in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years’ solid project management working experience with strong business knowledge in banking industry
• Experience in channel management and IT audit is highly preferred
• Proven track record of managing sizable cross-functional projects with satisfactory results
• Advanced stakeholder management skill, experience in working with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors is preferable
• PMP certification, qualification of CSSGB or ACIB/HKIB is a definite advantage
• Strong presentation, negotiation, organization and problem solving skills

The above post requires proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
