Job summary

Cathay Pacific is seeking a senior IT Practice Lead to drive development and continuous improvement of IT practices across the technology organisation. You will lead communities of practice, enhance methodologies, and ensure alignment with governance and PMO processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 6 years as a practitioner in the relevant area.
• Proven ability to coach, consult with and advise individuals and teams effectively.
• Strong leadership with ability to influence decisions and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve IT practice methodologies, frameworks, processes and toolsets.
• Identify industry best practices and drive their adoption within Cathay's environment.
• Monitor practice effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Define and manage quality management frameworks and performance reviews.
• Coach and support practitioners and teams in applying standards and ways of working.
• Design and deliver training programmes and capability development initiatives.
• Lead practice champions and communities of practice to promote collaboration.
• Align practice frameworks with other IT practices and governance processes.
• Support recruitment activities for practitioner roles and lead internship programs.
