Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager in Hong Kong to lead the Systems and Network Team. The role manages infrastructure services, plans initiatives, and provides technical leadership across systems and networks.

You will ensure staffing, establish policies, and drive improvements in security and operations. We value hands-on incident response, risk assessment and ITIL-aligned governance, plus strong vendor coordination and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in IT infrastructure management (systems, networks, databases).
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, information security and IT service management.
• ISMS knowledge would be an advantage.
• Strong experience with Linux and networking.
• Good ITIL knowledge: Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management.
• Hands-on incident response, security monitoring, patching, vulnerability management and audits.
• Professional certifications in Information Security / ISO/IEC 27001 / ITIL would help.
• Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Systems and Network Team in managing infrastructure services, operations and projects.
• Plan and implement IT infrastructure initiatives in line with the company’s business and technology direction.
• Provide technical and management leadership across systems, networks and related infrastructure services.
• Ensure the team has appropriate staffing, skills and training to meet current and future operational needs.
• Establish, review and maintain policies, guidelines and procedures for system management, administration and operations.
• Communicate operational requirements clearly and ensure team members follow approved policies, procedures and controls.
• Lead IT process reviews, service improvement and re-engineering initiatives, including quality assurance, security evaluation and risk assessment.
• Manage user support and technical solutions, including system problems and incidents, while maintaining service quality and user expectations.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and relevant counterparts on projects, services and operational matters.
• Perform and oversee system and security configuration reviews and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning, compliance testing, security monitoring and follow-up remediation.
• Support the achievement of corporate KPI targets, including service availability, registration and financial targets.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management, covering systems, networks and databases.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, information security and IT service management.
• Experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) would be an advantage.
• Strong experience with Linux and networking.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes, particularly Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Configuration Management.
• Hands-on knowledge of incident response, security monitoring, endpoint protection, patch and asset management, vulnerability management, security risk assessment and audit processes.
• Relevant professional certification in Information Security, ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL and/or IT Service Management would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating with third-party vendors and other stakeholders.
