TEKsystems is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to administer, maintain and enhance enterprise systems across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments in Hong Kong. You will design, deploy and operate cloud/network solutions, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and drive security and reliability improvements.

You should have hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Unix, VMware, Docker/Kubernetes, enterprise monitoring tools, and Chinese cloud platforms such as Alibaba

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Computing, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in system infrastructure, network infrastructure, cloud technology or related IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure deployment, administration, networking and troubleshooting, including Chinese cloud technologies.
• Solid experience with Windows/Linux/Unix, VMware/Hyper-V, SAN/storage, Exchange, Active Directory and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• Security experience: SIEM, DLP, IAM, SASE or vulnerability management.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as ManageEngine, PRTG and Splunk.
• Certifications in Network/Cloud/Cybersecurity (e.g., AWS, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills; good English and Cantonese.

Administer, maintain and enhance system, network and cloud infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers and related infrastructure appliances.

Provide technical advice and support for internet, intranet, LAN, WAN and cloud networking environments.

Design, implement and maintain cloud and hybrid-cloud infrastructure, with exposure to Chinese cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud and/or Tencent Cloud.

Administer Windows/Linux/Unix server environments, virtualization platforms, storage and container technologies.

Manage and maintain VPN and secure remote-access infrastructure.

Provide technical support and recommendations for IT infrastructure planning, architecture and cybersecurity initiatives.

Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity and performance using enterprise monitoring and logging solutions.

Coordinate internal technical teams and external vendors to ensure effective infrastructure and network support across headquarters and remote offices.

Manage infrastructure, cloud, network and security projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and smooth implementation.

Manage vendor relationships and oversee network, security, cloud and other infrastructure-related services.

Required Skills and Experience:

Degree or above in Computing, Information Technology or a related discipline.

5+ years of experience in system infrastructure, network infrastructure, cloud technology or related IT environments.

Cloud: Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure deployment, administration, networking and troubleshooting. Experience with Chinese cloud technologies such as Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud and/or Tencent Cloud is highly preferred. AWS, Azure or other public-cloud experience is also advantageous.

System / Wintel: Solid experience with Windows/Linux/Unix, VMware/Hyper-V, SAN/storage, Exchange, Active Directory and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Network: Hands-on experience in configuration, administration and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers. Experience with Huawei networking products is an advantage.

Security: Experience in security monitoring, security risk assessment and network intrusion detection. Exposure to technologies such as SIEM, DLP, IAM, SASE and vulnerability management is advantageous.

Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools such as ManageEngine, PRTG and Splunk.

Hands-on experience in cloud networking architecture, design, implementation and maintenance.

Professional certifications in Network, Cloud or Cybersecurity, such as AWS Cloud, CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, CISSP, CISA, CISM or CEH, would be an advantage.

Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors.

Good written and spoken English and Cantonese.

Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior-level position.
