The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) is seeking a Project Officer to provide daily IT and AV support across classrooms and labs. You will set up, troubleshoot, and maintain teaching equipment, including interactive displays, projectors, and video conferencing gear, while assisting with online and hybrid events.
The role requires a Diploma or higher in IT/AV related fields, 1 year of IT/AV support experience, and familiarity with Windows, MacOS, networking, and collaboration
Qualifications
- Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia Technology, Audio Visual Technology, or related disciplines.
- At least 1 year of relevant IT/AV support experience (fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may be considered).
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows and Mac computers.
- Experience in supporting AV equipment (interactive displays, projectors, microphones, audio systems, video conferencing peripherals).
- Basic knowledge of networking (wired and wireless).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom and other online meeting platforms.
- Familiarity with live streaming and broadcasting platforms for online events and live productions.
- Ability to respond promptly to classroom and laboratory support requests during teaching sessions.
- Experience in tertiary education is an advantage.
Responsabilités
- Provide daily operational IT/AV support for classrooms and laboratories during assigned shifts.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot interactive TVs, projectors, microphones, audio systems, and related equipment.
- Provide first-line technical support to staff, students, and administrative users.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Support Windows and Mac environments, including software installation and troubleshooting.
- Assist with setup and operation of IT/AV equipment for online meetings, hybrid events, and video conferences.
- Provide on-site technical support for lectures, seminars, examinations, events, and special activities.
- Support live streaming and broadcasting platforms through setup, operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Perform other IT administrative and support duties as assigned by supervisors.
