Job summary

ADECCO Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer (Learning & Development) to translate complex technical content into practical, learner-centred solutions. You will shape measurable objectives, design end-to-end digital journeys and collaborate with SMEs to deliver engaging eLearning, videos and simulations.

This role emphasizes applying AI tools to accelerate content development and improve learning impact in a corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design or related field.
• Around 5–8+ years of relevant experience designing digital or blended learning.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning and instructional-design principles.
• Experience with needs analysis, learning-objective design, storyboarding, scenarios and assessments.
• Ability to translate complex subject matter into clear, practical learning.
• Strong stakeholder consulting and communication skills.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline/Rise, LMS/LXP platforms, Microsoft Copilot and AI tools is a plus.

About you

• A degree or equivalent professional experience in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Learning & Development, Psychology, Communications or a related discipline.
• Around 5-8+ years of relevant experience, with demonstrated experience designing digital or blended learning solutions.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning and instructional-design principles.
• Proven capability in learning needs analysis, learning-objective design, storyboarding, scenario-based learning and assessment design.
• Experience translating complex subject matter into clear and practical learning experiences.
• Strong stakeholder consulting, facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience working with SMEs, digital learning developers, multimedia specialists or external vendors.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline/Rise, LMS/LXP platforms, Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, video/multimedia, simulation or immersive-learning technologies would be an advantage.
