Job summary

ADECCO Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer (Learning & Development) to translate complex technical content into practical, learner-centred solutions. You will shape measurable objectives, design end-to-end digital journeys and collaborate with SMEs to deliver engaging eLearning, videos and simulations.

This role emphasizes applying AI tools to accelerate content development and improve learning impact in a corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design or related field.
• Around 5–8+ years of relevant experience designing digital or blended learning.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning and instructional-design principles.
• Experience with needs analysis, learning-objective design, storyboarding, scenarios and assessments.
• Ability to translate complex subject matter into clear, practical learning.
• Strong stakeholder consulting and communication skills.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline/Rise, LMS/LXP platforms, Microsoft Copilot and AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business, performance and learner needs to inform learning solutions.
• Define measurable learning objectives and design end-to-end digital journeys.
• Transform complex technical and professional content into clear, learner-centred experiences.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, scenarios, simulations, learning activities and assessments.
• Design meaningful practice that helps learners apply knowledge in realistic workplace situations.
• Provide instructional direction for eLearning, video, animation, microlearning, immersive formats.
• Work with SMEs and stakeholders, challenging content-heavy approaches as needed.
• Conduct instructional quality reviews ensuring accessibility, accuracy and governance.
• Use learner feedback, assessment results and analytics to improve learning effectiveness.
