Anlaseo Technology Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a business development professional to bring new photonics technologies to industrial markets by building partnerships and guiding pilots from conception to commercial adoption.

You will identify target markets, cultivate relationships with government bodies and industry partners, coordinate cross-functional teams, and translate pilot outcomes into repeat orders while navigating testing, qualification, and procurement.

The Role

Bring new technologies and products into industrial markets by developing partnerships, navigating customer adoption processes and turning pilot projects into commercial business.

Responsibilities

• Identify target markets, customer needs and suitable industrial applications.
• Build relationships with government agencies, industrial parks, industry associations and enterprise decision-makers.
• Navigate testing, qualification, supplier registration and procurement requirements.
• Coordinate technical teams and partners to deliver pilots, negotiate agreements and secure commercial adoption.
• Develop successful projects into repeat orders and long-term partnerships.

Requirements

• Strong industry networks, relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to turn connections into measurable partnership or project outcomes.
• Experience in technology commercialisation, industrial business development or government–enterprise cooperation preferred.
• Commercial judgement, initiative and the ability to resolve complex problems in a startup environment.
• Good written and spoken Chinese and English, including Mandarin. Relevant project achievements will be considered flexibly; no fixed minimum years of experience.

Terms

Salary: HK$20,000–40,000 per month, depending on capabilities and experience.
