Oxfam Hong Kong is seeking an Events Assistant to support fundraising events and activities. You will help recruit and service participants and volunteers, arrange logistics, and coordinate with partners to produce materials for events.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with English and Chinese proficiency. You may work weekends and public holidays as needed and contribute to team decisions and event follow-ups.

Qualifikationen

• Degree holder preferred, but open to associate degree or higher diploma with at least 1 year experience in events, fundraising, or marketing.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as required.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Aufgaben

• Assist in recruitment and servicing of participants and volunteers.
• Source venues and arrange logistics and briefing for participants, volunteers and staff.
• Coordinate meetings with event partners and produce minor printed items within the team.
• Perform receipting; maintain proper records of participants, volunteers and other contacts.
• Attend and take turns to be secretary of the monthly Events Team meeting and take notes for future reference.
• Participate in the decision-making process within the team.
• Attend monthly OHK staff meetings and agency-wide events.
• Handle additional tasks as requested by the Fundraising Manager - Events
