Job summary

Jobtailor is recruiting in Hong Kong for an HR compensation and benefits lead to manage end-to-end payroll, provident fund administration and annual tax reporting. You will drive HR operations, ensure data integrity, and support HRIS enhancements and automation initiatives.

You will coordinate audits, governance and regulatory reporting while advising on policies and benefits. Candidate with 5–8 years of HR experience and HK knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant HR experience in a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF rules and statutory HR requirements.
• Strong payroll, taxation, benefits administration and HR operations understanding.
• Proficient computer skills including spreadsheets and HRIS.
• Must complete Mandatory Reference Check for in-scope positions; senior level may be Senior Associate.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end compensation and benefits operations including payroll processing and related reporting.
• Administer payroll platforms and coordinate payroll activities.
• Oversee MPF and provident fund administration and annual employer tax reporting.
• Administer employee benefits, insurance and annual renewals.
• Coordinate provident fund audits with external auditors.
• Provide HR operational support and handle employee inquiries on policies and benefits.
• Support HR policy, programs, engagement and wellness initiatives; assist events.
• Maintain local payroll system and assist HRIS enhancements, automation and data migration.
• Ensure data integrity and support HR system implementation and testing.
• Prepare personnel expense reports, headcount, budgets and management information.
• Coordinate HR governance, compliance, audits and regulatory reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across HR operations and compensation processes.
• Undertake ad hoc HR projects as needed.
