Job summary

Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager (Human Resources) to partner with college leadership and deliver practical, people-centered HR services. You will handle employee relations, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, HRIS maintenance, reporting and benchmarking while supporting staff across a diverse academic community.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
• Around 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, with exposure to HR business partnering, employee relations, recruitment, HR operations and HRIS.
• Experience supporting managers and staff on day-to-day HR matters across the employee life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum HR support to assigned units, including employee relations, performance management, staff movement, retention, disciplinary matters, and employee engagement.
• Support end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding arrangements.
• Prepare employment contracts and conduct new hire orientations.
• Maintain and update HRIS records and data accuracy.
• Support market benchmarking and other HR analyses as required.
• Prepare HR reports and management information for review and decision-making.
• Build and maintain effective communication with stakeholders across the College.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor and the College.
