Hospital Authority - Kowloon Central Cluster is seeking a Clerk III (Telephone Operator) for Queen Mary Hospital. The role provides clerical support, handles enquiries, and operates the hospital's telecommunication systems, with shift work including nights and emergencies.

The successful candidate will manage calls, update directories, and assist in data reporting using Microsoft Office. Strong English and Chinese language skills, and typing ability are essential for daily operations.

Qualifikationen

• Passes in 5 HKCEE subjects including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Or 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining Level 2 in English, Chinese and Mathematics; Level 2 in other subjects, or equivalent.
• Ability to perform typing, word processing and/or Chinese word processing.

Aufgaben

• Provide clerical support to the department, including routine office administration and coordination of functions and events.
• Work shifts to provide 24-hour telecommunication service; handle enquiries and relay messages.
• Operate the hospital's telephone system, paging and all relevant communication systems.
• Respond to calls and enquiries from internal/external parties and direct to appropriate parties.
• Operate Integrated Telecommunication System and respond to emergency disaster calls.
• Update and manage call groups, canned messages, telephone directories, etc.
• Perform typing/word processing and filing/record management.
• Consolidate data and prepare reports using Microsoft Office.
• Assist supervisor with commissioning of telephone operator and enquiry services to new premises.
• Assist in handling ad hoc projects.
• Perform shift duties including overnight, typhoon/black rain emergencies.
